The Horseless Horsemen Foundation

The Horseless Horsemen Foundation Inc. was originally founded in the nineteen seventies by Sister Barbara Margulies. It was conceived as a social club for people who loved horses but weren't able to own one of their own.

In 2001, Sue Mercil joined the club and shortly thereafter the club reemerged as a nonprofit organization. The Foundation is dedicated to educating equestrians by hosting clinics with world class clinicians, as well as monthly unmounted clinics taught by our own staff. The Foundation and its members also introduce disabled children and adults to the world of horses.

All our programs are made possible by membership dues and donations of horses, time, and money by individuals who understand the importance of the Foundation's work.

The purpose of our web site is to introduce members, and those interested in things equestrian, to the many events and clinics the Foundation sponsors. The web site also provides a place for members to submit their favorite photos and share news of what's happening in and around the Foundation.
